LORETE FEKA, DPT, GAq, CLT

Movement & Mobility Expert, PLLC
Physical Therapist

Dr. Lorete Feka is a dedicated and compassionate physical therapist with over 14 years of diverse clinical experience spanning inpatient, outpatient, home health, and travel settings. Her commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care has shaped her career and led her to prioritize education, empowerment, and holistic healing in her practice.

Dr. Feka believes that helping patients understand their condition—and the "why" behind each treatment—is key to achieving lasting results. Her approach goes beyond standard care: she educates her patients thoroughly, ensuring they are informed, engaged, and motivated throughout their healing journey.

Frustrated with the limitations of the traditional healthcare system, which often prioritizes volume over value, Dr. Feka transitioned to The Movement and Mobility team—a company whose mission aligns with her own: to deliver individualized, results-driven care without systemic constraints.

Throughout her career, she has served  resources to tech-equipped metropolitan facilities. This broad exposure has given her deep insight into adaptable, practical treatment strategies. She continually expands her skills, holding certifications in aquatic therapy, lymphedema therapy, dry needling, kinesiotaping, among others.

A passionate volunteer, Dr. Feka is actively involved in stroke camps and adaptive water sports programs for individuals with disabilities. These experiences have broadened her focus to include not only clinical recovery but also helping people return to the activities they love—redefining mobility and independence on their terms. She strongly believes that setbacks such as stroke, injury, or chronic conditions shouldn't prevent anyone from living a full and active life, even if the approach needs to change.

With a deep understanding of movement, posture, and biomechanics, Dr. Feka specializes in treating pain syndromes such as chronic back, neck, shoulder, and pregnancy-related pain. She emphasizes body alignment and movement retraining to prevent unnecessary surgeries by addressing the root causes—often poor posture or repetitive strain.

Her keen eye for gait analysis has helped many patients avoid invasive procedures, sometimes resolving pain simply through appropriate footwear or inserts. Having lived half her life in Chile, she also brings a multicultural perspective and speaks fluent Spanish. Her interest in holistic and alternative treatments has led her to study apitherapy, which she incorporates to reduce inflammation in conditions like tendinitis, gout, and rheumatoid arthritis. She is currently developing a yoga-based technique tailored to stroke survivors, targeting tightness and spasticity.

In her free time, Dr. Feka enjoys traveling and staying active through skiing, scuba diving, and self-defense. She also volunteers with her church in a program supporting single women through pregnancy—a reflection of her lifelong commitment to care and community.
